1-8 Computing Back Azimuths
A circle has 6400 mils. To determine a back azimuth using mils, you add 3200
mils to the original azimuth if the original azimuth is less than 3200 mils.
If the original azimuth is more than 3200 mils, subtract 3200 mils.
A circle has 360°. To determine a back azimuth using an existing azimuth,
you simply add or subtract 180° from the original azimuth.
